In early 2014, Love Inc hired Katie as the first Executive Director of the newly formed organization. Katie was formerly the Assistant Program Coordinator of the STARS Program in Sheboygan County and a nationally recognized AmeriCorps leader serving in Denver, Colorado for two years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Non-profit Management from Lakeland College. As Executive Director, Katie will be accountable for all areas of the operation ensuring the fulfillment of the mission of Love INC and faithful execution of the Core Values.
In late 2014, Shannon was hired to establish the Clearinghouse. As the Clearinghouse Coordinator, she oversees all aspects of the referral process including management of the Volunteers; and, coordination of communication with Church ministry and Community Service organization contacts. She was formerly a Job Developer for RCS Empowers, and has been a Youth Leader in her Church community for seven years, with a focus on teens-at- risk. Shannon has also served through the Appalachia Service Project, Week of Hope, and Hurricane Katrina efforts. She has more than 16 years of business experience in Non-profit organizations, and holds a degree in Business Information Systems from Lakeshore Technical College. Shannon is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree at UW Oshkosh in Human Services Leadership.
In early 2015, Jenna was hired as Volunteer Ministry Coordinator for Love INC. Jenna comes to Love INC with over 18 years of volunteer experience, working both with Camp Sinawa in Valders Wisconsin, and The American Indian Center in Saint Cloud Minnesota on a multitude of community-based and educational projects. Jenna finds a great sense of fulfillment in positively engaging with compassionate individuals, to collectively have a genuine impact in the lives of those struggling within our communities. Jenna is passionate about the mission and focus of her role in recruiting, training, and leading the Volunteer efforts across the organization. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communication, and is experienced in mobilizing teams.
